Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of adults for ADHD, considering potential co-occurring conditions to inform diagnostic decisions. Utilise a holistic approach to understand the full spectrum of each patient’s needs.
- Independent Diagnostic Decision-Making: Exercise independent professional responsibility for diagnostic decisions within your competence, while engaging in monthly supervision with our Clinical Director to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Risk Assessment and Safeguarding: Perform diligent patient risk assessments and review safeguarding needs, integrating these considerations into treatment strategies. Uphold the clinic’s commitment to safeguarding adults in our care.
- Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain precise and timely client records using our patient record system and associated clinical templates, adhering to the highest professional standards for record-keeping.
- You will be providing expert professional advice to patients, carers, and colleagues and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence
- Active Team Collaboration: As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, collaborate closely with colleagues to share insights, coordinate care, and ensure a holistic approach to patient treatment. Your contribution to team dynamics is vital in fostering a supportive and efficient working environment.
- Professional Development and Supervision: Engage in regular line management supervision, appraisals, and team meetings/case discussions. Actively participate in supervised assessments to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Clinical Incidents and Continuous Improvement: Recognise and report clinical incidents and near misses, contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Respond to requests from Clinical Assurance and Patient Experience teams for investigation participation as required.
- Mandatory Training and CPD: Fulfil all mandatory training requirements through continuous professional development. Take responsibility for your learning while also participating in CPD events.
Qualifications and Experience
- Has a professional qualification in any field of mental health, this may including nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Worker or Pharmacist.
- Information technology skills sufficient to the undertaking of the post.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform high quality assessments.

Additional Information
- The role will require you to be able to work in a quiet space with good internet access allowing you to conduct confidential 1:1 appointments in a professional manner.
- Remuneration is £67.50 per client assessment (60-90 minutes) – full training around assessment provided.
- You will need to be able to work under your own Limited company which we can support you to set up.
- You will have your own IT equipment.
